The Bottom of It

Cutting right to the chase.

Yes, there are so many reasons not to vote for Bush, we can barely keep track of them all. But if there's one issue that should be important to all voters, republican and democrat alike, it is the fact that this son-of-a-goats-ass (sorry to Babs and 41 - but it be true), is so goddamn stupid. It's a real problem. One that needs to be taken care of first and foremost in order to start fixing the rest of our problems.

Just think of Bush's excruciating stupidity as a giant roadblock in the path to a better America. Because that's exactly what it is. Sooo, aside from the myriad other problems with this administration and its policies, let's not forget the importance of having a thoughtful, intelligent leader who is capable of weighing all of his or her options and who puts the wellbeing of the people before personal political and financial ambition and committing to hasty and ill conceived acts of pre-emptive aggression.

Growing up, my Dad always used to tell me (and still does to this day) you should be articulate when presenting yourself in a situation where you want to be taken seriously. And yes, I am a victim of that in my own demise because I rarley ever spell check and grammar check my entries. Ask anyone of my enemies and they will tell you. That being the case, why don't they expect the same from the leader of the free world? I find it truly astounding that me, some small business owner computer geek with little net worth compared to corporate America, is held to a higher standard than the most powerful man in the world? Why is it OK for Bush to munge answering a question so badly that not only does he sound like a half baked donkey, but he insults an entire race of people, but it is not OK for me to make typos, and grammatical errors?
I cannot understand how half of this nation could lower their standards to such depths as to allow this moron represent us.
It is also not a matter of him "lacking in eloquence when he speaks" because there are lots of folks who lack the eleoquence but you know they are intelligent folks.
One of the things that bothered me the most was when Bush had given a Q&A press conference about Saddam and the WMD's and was asked a question by one of his press corp people that stumped him. He responded "I really wish you would have aske dme earlier so I could have prepared for this question, I am just not quick to think on my feet with this..."
I am not the smartest man in the world, nor would I ever have what it takes to be a world leader - thus, why I would never run for any office - but I do know that being able to "think on their feet" would probably be one of those required traits I would look for in a leader.
I think it really speaks many diofferent stories, none good, about anyone who supports Bush. Yes, ANYONE who supports him - it shows me you have very low standards for whom you feel would represent our sountry best - it makes me wonder what other lower standards you have. And if you say you like he stance on issues, it shows me you obviosuly don't care much about education.
