Reward or Punishment?

My Shareholder bosses are taking me to lunch at Pampano today. I don't know what the hell we are going to talk about. I feel like it's an interview all over again. It's weird. I get along with them so well in the office on a professional level. We share good humor and work harmoniously with eachother. I know they think I am a great secretary and they like me as a person, but it seems like it might be weird to sit down to lunch with them and conduct casual conversation. I don't know why. We conduct casual conversation in the office, but we all have a mutual reason for being here. We just never have lunch together, you know? I guess I should just kick back and enjoy it though. Luckily they are both "democrats" and one of them is heavily involved in the CLU, so there's always that to fall back on. If all else fails we can always talk politics and civil liberties. Riveting lunch conversation. Hahaa! This is my reward for being a good employee. Lunch with the big dogs.

Wish me luck.

You don't need it M.

You're your own best advocate. You'll have a blast! Can't wait to hear how it went.

Whole red snapper arrives like a seafood sculpture, artfully de-boned, rounded out, stuffed with tangy cactus salad and surrounded with a chile de arbol lake

Just read about this restaurant...oh my gawd it sounds out of this world delicious..just made my hot ham n cheese sandwich suck...

It was really fun. It was a beautiful day to take a walk. I thought lunch was going to be weird, but it really wasn't. The restaurant was beautiful (airy and island inspired) and the food was excellent. I had shrimp ceviche, lobster tacos and finally a yummy custard with carmelized bananas and a latte for dessert. Yes, I milked it! But that's the whole idea right?

The associate I work for came along too, which was good because he is really funny and balances out the energy between the other two. We did end up talking some politics and financial securities law, but luckily not very much. I really had fun. Phew.
