This is officially the most beautiful day NY has seen this year so far.
Seventy degrees. Heaven.
Went to see Taking Lives starring Angelina Jolie, Ethan Hawke and Keifer Sutherland last night with Rob. It was a good movie and had a few good surprises though it did jump the shark at the end with one scene where someone got stabbed and blood came out and the next time the person was shown there was no blood, but it was a small jump and I am willing to overlook it and say that all in all it was a pretty good flick.
Though after seeing Dawn of the Dead a few weeks ago, nothing could shake me up that much. All the suspense and drama in the world couldn't equal the sheer terror and roaring stomach flipping that I experienced during that movie. I am not joking in the least when I say that I was emotionally traumatized by DOTD. I had flashes of it in my mind for days afterwards and just two nights ago had another zombie nightmare where my own brother was a zombie and my sister and I were scrambling to get in the car and drive away from him. It was one of those dreams that feels so silly when you tell someone about it, but when I was dreaming it I was scared to death. Kept waking up and trying to shake it off and falling back asleep only to resume the same miserable nightmare. That movie was seriously fucked up and it fucked me up. I could talk about it forever, so I'll stop.
It's a beautiful day in Brooklyn and I'm going to get out there and enjoy it.

But beforehand I was able to lounge for an hour and a half on the deck watching the great dark blue Atlantic! Oh spring's here darlin'! No question.
Hope you enjoyed your day.
Posted by: Richard at April 17, 2004 07:43 PMHA! Maria.
Geoffey-Gordon-Jonathan- have/has banned me from "their" site again! (much as he claims he doesn't do it - this is the same thing that happened the last time when my commentary was too on target!)
Now he's taken to posting under my own name!!!
Check it out. Here's the message I get:

HA! Bitchtard can't use the intardnet! What a fucking moron!
He's not obsessed with me or anything, though. He just cries in off topic comments when he can't get his fix.
Go read your computer's instructions, moron, then try again.
What a fucking retard.
Posted by: Geoffrey at April 18, 2004 10:35 AMLiar. Plain and simple.
Finally got ya Sybil. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!
Can't take it!! This one's TOO MEAN!!
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
LMGDFAO!
Posted by: Richard at April 18, 2004 11:36 AMI love watching you have a mental breakdown.
Here you go http://www.nhboston.com/
Take a class. Speaking of lying, you called the cops again yet, stalker?
Posted by: Geoffrey at April 18, 2004 11:52 AMWell since you brought up movies..I finally saw, "Kill Bill Vol 1"...I am going to have to see Vol 2...that was one of the best ass kickin' movies I've seen in a long time..Uma Thurman was AWESOME...Quentin Tarrantino did an excellent job again..great movie.
Posted by: sandy at April 18, 2004 12:10 PMHere's the thing Sybil.. since you appear to need this sort of negative banter even when you disallow my presence at your site (thanks btw)..
I'd say it's fairly obvious (even to your retarded ass) that you're the fella with the obsession. I'm not on your site now by your banning. Cool! And if this sort of 'back and forth' doesn't suit you (and we ALL know it does) why not go to Sandy's site and comment on one of her threads in a supportive and constructive way rather than rag on my ass following me to every blog I frequent and posting under my name. Oh wait. Forgot myself. That would take heart and soul both of which you were denied by the underworld god that spawned you.
Sad Sybil.. She has no life. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Posted by: Richard at April 18, 2004 02:03 PMYes. That's my understanding too.
Posted by: Richard at April 18, 2004 03:33 PMYeah I heard Vol 2 has more dialogue..the first ones leaves you kinda hanging as far as storyline goes..it was so great!
Posted by: sandy at April 18, 2004 03:55 PMMaria?
Does 'Dawn of the Dead' rival the 60s classic 'Night of the Living Dead'?
No question. NOTLD is THE all-time fear fest bar none.
Posted by: Richard at April 18, 2004 04:06 PMMy my, I go away for 24+ hours and look what goes on!
Richard I thought the new DOTD was waaaaaay scarier than the old one. (This was a remake to the old sequal to NOTLD) And the original Night Of the Living Dead was a fucking snoozefest compared to the new Dawn of the Dead. Ohmigod. I am seriously not a pussy, but that was the scariest movie EV-ER.
As for Kill Bill, saw the first one, loved it. Haven't seen the second one yet, but I'm looking forward to it.
Posted by: Maria at April 18, 2004 10:11 PMExcuse me while I crack open a beer before I get started perusing the shit slinging fest that occurred during my short absence.
Posted by: Maria at April 18, 2004 10:14 PMI'm all done shit slinging here, unless, of course, it's on topic or with you.
I've grown weary of being Bitchtard's topic of conversation on every blog he goe's to.
Sorry for falling into the trap again here.
Posted by: Geoffrey at April 18, 2004 10:47 PMNot so tired that you refrain from comment though oh predictable one.. Tedium incarnate.
Posted by: Richard at April 19, 2004 12:06 AMShit! Maria, if that's your take on the new version of NOTLD I'm there!
Hope your time was eventful during your absensce... ;-)
Posted by: Richard at April 19, 2004 12:07 AMIt was eventful for my pocketbook! Hahaaa.
MWAH. Now go see Dawn of the Dead so you can tell me what you think. I want to know if I'm the only crybaby who thought it was sceeery!
