Quote of the Day

"'Our war on terror continues,' Bush told Republican loyalists on Wednesday night. 'This country will not rest, we will not tire, and we will not stop until this danger to civilization is removed.'"

We will not rest? We will not tire? Who is he talking to? Oh, that's right "Republican loyalists". Casualty vampires. No rest, no sleep for blood sucking bastards out to conquer the world, sidestepping the destruction left in their wake.

Remove this danger from civilization? And just how, exactly, does Dubya plan to remove danger and terror from civilization when it has been a part of civilization since the dawn of time? (By committing suicide? That might be a good start...) Is he going to remove terror from all corners of the earth, or just from the United States (apparently, the most precious and important place ON earth) and countries that have oil or offer resistance to his master plan of world domination? He definitely must irradicate terror from those places, otherwise, what reason do we have to be in those countries committing all kinds of murder and mayhem? I'm sure that "terror" is dwindling from existence at an alarming rate. I'm just sure of it. I mean, don't tell me we've spent all those billions of dollars on nothing.

So tell me Mr. President, what did you babble?

this is dumb, but was watching a rerun of "COPS"..okay so these 2 guys were beating the crap out of each other, by the time the cops arrived they were cool..one guy suggested that they take their squabble "outside". The guy who suggested this got his face smashed in. The cops asked, "Do you wish to press charges?" He look totally bewildered, than promptly said, "hell no". I was happy that the cops let both guys go w/out any paperwork. Sometimes the simplest is the best. Sometimes staying "uninvolved" is best. Some of these countries have been battling for years and battling in their own way...who are we to say it's wrong or who are we to fix everything? I love Julia Child, but if she tries to fix my roast duck I'll chop her hands off....U.S.A..needs to worry about U.S.A...that's it I'm done :)

Sandy and Maria,
have you ever heard the words international organtization? where as you, as a meager citizen of a country where freedom and liberty are more prominant than anywhere in the world I guess you wouldn't concern yourself with anything outside your little dome of interest... the leader of our country however, has no choice in taking action especially when a condition set through an IO is violated. as a hegemonic state we have an obligation. respecively, Bush is a cowboy and that comes out in most of what he does... but it is far better to do the job completely than leave any part of it subject to vulnerability. it is a damn good thing that neither of you are running this country, and if you have so much to complain about maybe you should take your next vacation in Palestine to remember how lucky you are.
