Ms. Mallard

I will never forget the first time I heard about this story. I could not imagine any person being so callous that she could strike a man with her car and leave him lodged in the windshield to die slowly and miserably over the course of a couple of days, never calling the police or anyone to come and help. This man could have survived. But she didn't let him.

It is so unbelievable that it makes me want to cry just thinking about the cruelty and sadness of it.

Today she was sentenced to 50 years in prison. That should give her a little while to think about what she did...

To me what's outrageous is the fact that people are OUTRAGED that she was convicted...as if what she did was not a crime nor she intended malice by leaving him there to suffer and die.

That is further proof that the world has gone mad.

Those people should see what it feels like to be stuck in a windshield bleeding to death while some drugged up chick goes about her business and leaves them to die. Or have it happen to someone they love. Then they would be chasing her with pitchforks all the way to the electric chair. I believe the sentence was quite fair and those folks who think she shouldn't have been convicted need a brain enema.

What ever happened to that boyfriend she was having sex with while this guy was dying? He should be thrown in prison too as an accomplice.

He's doing 10 years for tampering with evidence.

He's getting off way too light; he let that guy die just as much as she did even if he wasn't driving the car!
